Welcome to Bridgeland! Located in the central NE quadrant of the city, Bridgeland Calgary is perfect for almost anyone.
The CBE schools that service the Bridgeland area are Stanley Jones School (regular K-6, all girls program 4-9), and Colonel Macleod School (7-9), both located in Renfrew, and Crescent Heights High School (10-12) located in Crescent Heights. The Catholic School District schools in this area include St. Angela School (K-6), St. Pius X School (K-6 French Immersion), St. Alphonsus School (K-9), Madeleine d’Houet School (7-9 French Immersion), St Francis High School (10-12), and St Mary’s High School (10-12).
One of the biggest benefits of living in Bridgeland is how close so many locally owned and trendy businesses and restaurants are. My personal favourite would have to be either OEB for breakfast or Luke’s Drug Mart for coffee! Bridgeland has the unique opportunity to live minutes away from downtown while also being walking distance to shops, parks, and sports fields. It is minutes away from huge YYC attractions such as TELUS Spark and The Calgary Zoo. Bridgeland is the perfect community for people who love the outdoors as well as the convenience of living inner city.
Bridgeland is also very accessible by transit. There is a nearby LRT station (Bridgeland LRT) as well as the main Transit Route 90 which runs all through the community, takes you straight downtown (on 12 Ave) and up to the University of Calgary. There are numerous other bus routes that travel through Bridgeland which connect it to Various parts of Downtown Calgary, Beltline, Rosscarrock, Cliff Bungalow, Mission, Ramsay, Eau Claire, Sunnyside, Hillhurst, SAIT, Renfrew, Mt Pleasant, Crescent Heights, Highland Park, Thornecliffe, Huntington Hills, Mayland Heights, Vista Heights, and Sunridge.
