Have you been thinking about making the move to Richmond, Calgary? Richmond is a trendy and central neighbourhood in YYC. Nestled in the central SW quadrant of the city, it is easily accessible by large roadways such as 17th and Crowchild.
Richmond is one of Calgary’s oldest neighbourhoods, and features beautiful panoramic views of the city and downtown. Richmond has a mix of older, largely one story homes, and newer infill properties. It’s central location makes it one of the city’s most sought-after places to live.
One of the best parts about living in Richmond is how close so many locally owned and trendy businesses, restaurants, and patios are. With close proximity to Marda Loop, Westbrook Mall, and Downtown, there is something for everyone here. I love stopping into Blush Lane on the weekend for a Ritual Doughnut (and you will too, trust me!). Click here for a full list of businesses in Marda Loop. It also houses the former Children’s hospital which has been converted into the Richmond Road Diagnostics Centre.
Richmond is a great place to raise a family.
